About Our Fats and Oils

Our vegetable shortenings include the Ertimix 230, a non-hydrogenated fat made from selected vegetable oils with a neutral flavour profile and stable performance across a wide temperature range. The BFP Vegetable Fat White Shortening is an all-vegetable oil blend supplied in white shortening form, and the All Vegetable Shortening is free from trans fats and cholesterol.

For palm-derived fats, we stock Palm Oil, a non-hydrogenated fat derived from tropical palm fruit, alongside two fully hydrogenated palm kernel oil options - HPKO 90, which is SG RSPO certified, and Ertilor HPKO, produced from fully hydrogenated palm kernel oil. The distinction between non-hydrogenated and fully hydrogenated formats gives producers a choice based on the structural and stability requirements of their product.

Our Coconut Oil is extracted from sustainably sourced coconut and has a neutral flavour profile and naturally higher heat tolerance compared to many vegetable oils.

 BFP Pure Lard is the only animal-derived product in the range, manufactured from pork fat and supplied free from dairy, gluten, and nuts.

The majority of products in this range carry Halal and Kosher certification, with all vegetable-based options also certified vegan.
